Mystic Girl plays out like an arena endurance challenge where you fight off enemies. Do you want Mystic Girl to come out faster? Do you want to apply your exceptional talents to help make that happen? Do you want other people to help out because you don’t know what the heck you are doing? Then you will be happy, because I’m going to temporarily accept contributions to the game.
Basically I’m looking for any of three things:
- Background environments.
- Background music.
- Fanart.
- Voice work (this, folks, is called a “long shot”)
But before I go into any more detail about these things I have to make a few things absolutely clear to anyone even thinking about helping out.
- I am not desperate for help. This is not a call out to aid with development problems or anything like that. This is simply an opportunity for people to contribute if that sounds like fun to them.
- Currently I am still planning on selling a expanded version of the game (for cheap). Any contributions to the game will be done on a strictly volunteer basis. You will not be paid for your contributions in any manner. I will flat-out refuse content from anyone who even mentions anything to the contrary.
- I can and will reject anything that I do not want to include. I will not sugar coat things to avoid hurting your feelings. I’m not going to slap everyone’s name into the credits who sends me stuff if I don’t use it. Making content is done at your own risk, I give no guarantees that it will not be wasted time.
- You should be fully aware that I do not follow any sort of schedule with regards to making hentai and can (and likely will) continue to disappear for weeks at a time, so don’t freak out if you submit stuff that doesn’t elicit any sort of response.
So if you still want to help knowing all that, here’s the details of what I’m looking for:
- Environments – These are the background images for the different stages. I would like to have varied environments this time. It doesn’t really matter what sort of location it is, although keep in mind this is fantasy and there’s a bunch of monsters running about so a modern urban landscape is not appropriate. Try to stick to basic fantasy settings like: desert, mountain range, snow field, grassy plains, etc.
Break your images into three layers: Background, midground, foreground. Make sure the actual ground of the environment stretches from the very bottom to ~200 pixels up. Here’s an old placeholder picture (ha, no spoilers for you) as an example. Grass as foreground, bright trees as midground, tree silhouettes as background.
You should have three separate 800x1200 images that link together horizontally to create the level (the example picture is about 800x600 because it’s just an old example). Everything must be original and hand drawn. No tracing, no inserting pictures, just draw in Flash. Don’t make it incredibly complex and have tons of crazy animation or anything because it will run like crap, but it should look much nicer than the example. - Music – Pretty self-explanatory. Some track that is appropriate to play in the background. If it would fit in Jungle/Demon Girl it would fit here too. Well, it’s not hell themed so no hardcore Norwegian death metal or anything like that. Doesn’t need to be fancy or very long. It should loop cleanly and not be annoying -- try to keep it more subdued. Of course this should be entirely original work as well. Don’t send me songs you didn’t make. Don’t send me remixes of songs you didn’t make. Completely original stuff only.
- Fanart – I may put in unlockable pictures if people submit them. There’s already an image of Mystic Girl here, so you can just draw her lookin’ pretty. Also, Demon and Jungle Girl pictures are fine.
- Voice Work – If you are a girl with a cute voice and like making moaning noises, you could be Mystic Girl! No, I don’t expect anyone to actually do this ^^ But someone could if they wanted. Basically I’d need moaning noises for different levels of arousal (low, high, orgasm) and stifled moans for blowjobs. In the rare chance that someone did want to try and do this, send me a little sample first so I can check recording quality before you go nuts with it.
