And that could mean a) freaking out from happiness that I'm actually back and not dead, b) freaking out at me for being a colossal jackass, or c) probably both if you still bother to come here after almost a full year of inactivity.
I would say that Mystic Girl is done but even I can't make that joke at this point. It's still sitting around somewhere, largely where it was when I made the post below this. It's possible I could finish it at some point. It's also obviously possible I could not. I probably should, just as some sort of repentance.
At this point, why did I bother coming back? I'm not sure. I guess just to say thanks to anyone who was sincerely concerned about my health. I don't really deserve that sort of concern. I made a promise I fully intended to keep and I broke it. No excuses, I just outright broke it.
Where was I? What have I been doing? Why didn't I say anything?
The project I was working on before, that kept me from having time to work on Mystic Girl, went poorly. So when it was over my spirit was a little broken and I just didn't want to do it anymore. It took a while for me to get over things. For a while I just didn't do very much, and then I busied myself with other matters.
So here we are almost a year later. I'm doing pretty good now. Happier, healthier, and working on things that are going very well for me. If Mystic Girl can fit into this life somehow it'll get done. That's no promise, though. I'm not making those anymore.
I am, however, going to read through the entire ludicrously long series of comments on that last post. As self-inflicted punishment. =)

hey, hey, no beating yourself up, what help is that once it already has happened? yeah we all wish you had let us know earlier what was going on, but there's no reason to start hating yourself for it, that wont do, you've just told us you're feeling happier again. Don't go thinking you "don't deserve happiness" or some such nonsense. We're all just glad you didn't get arrested or hit by a bus, and I'd venture to say much of the "we must start a hunt!" on the comments of the other page is just nervous joking, and the really mean ones are just disgruntled lurkers and 14-year olds.
Like I've posted before, I'd really rather have a great game that the author was really into than one made in haste due to being rushed, so do it when you're able. I'm sure if/when you do finish it, it will be a triumph!

Dude you are an internet celebrity now and you know it! Your games create a new aspect of hentai that really everyone has wanted. Your a freakin pioneer man!!
Now your games are awesome and really bring something new to the table. Bringing in the 3rd game would really complete things but thats up to you and whether or not your in the mood.
There has been a few people trying to clone your technique but none of them really got it. A good example is a game called "Minerva" its a 2D side-scrolling hentai game. That person tried and failed MUAAHAHAHA!!! lol You beat them all.
Now if i may i wanna add some ideas and you can use em if you want or not its cool too. Ive always seen the 16 bit side-scrolling games as having some potential for hentai. If you could make a 16 or 32 bit hentai game that would ROCK.
Heres my idea: A naruto hentai game where Hinata is the main character. Simple storyline: Naruto wants to "train" hinata sooo they go out into the monster/tentacle infested woods. ;) Then Naruto runs off. Hinata has to go and avoid being raped by the creatures until she reaches naruto. Naruto acts as a boss and then fights Hinata. His shadow clones can also be a nice aspect to the game. If the whole game can maintain a smooth feel to it, it would be a smash hit. Like when hinata is caught by a monster, it grabs at her, only to rip 1 piece of clothing off, then runs off. The penetraition is really the part that needs to be smoothest but all around everything needs good fluid detail.
Thats just one of my ideas. Im a bit of a naruto fan and i want this to happen badly but i dont know flash sooo ill leave it to the experts. Like u ;)
